Get Recipe Ingredients with Instacart®

Recipe Cloud + Instacart: From Recipes to Groceries

At Recipe Cloud, our goal has always been to make cooking easier — from discovering recipes, to saving and organizing them, to planning meals for the week ahead.

Now, we’re making it easier to take the next step. Recipe Cloud now includes a new Instacart® shopping option that allows you to shop for recipe ingredients directly from Recipe Cloud and choose from available delivery or pickup options through Instacart®.

Whether you’re planning a quick weeknight dinner, prepping for the week, or saving recipes for later, this shopping option gives you a faster way to move from recipe inspiration to groceries at your door.

What’s New?

You may have already noticed the Instacart® shopping option in the Recipe Cloud web app. When viewing supported recipes, you can use the “Get Recipe Ingredients” button to select your preferred retailer, add ingredients to an Instacart® cart and continue to checkout on Instacart®.

With the upcoming Recipe Cloud 4.0 release, we’re also working to make grocery shopping even more connected to the rest of your cooking workflow, including planned updates for shopping lists and the iOS app.

How It Works

Using the Instacart® shopping option in Recipe Cloud is simple:

  1. Find a recipe in Recipe Cloud.
  2. Select the “Get Recipe Ingredients” option when available.
  3. Select your preferred retailer and review the ingredients added to your Instacart® cart.
  4. Choose from available delivery or pickup options through Instacart®.

Before placing your order, you can review quantities, select replacements, remove items you already have, and make any other adjustments directly through Instacart®.

Where Is This Available?

The Instacart® shopping option in Recipe Cloud is currently available to users in the United States and Canada.

Availability may still vary by location, retailer, and item selection. During checkout, you’ll see the delivery and pickup options available in your area through Instacart®.

Get Started

You can try the Instacart® shopping option now in the Recipe Cloud web app by opening a recipe and selecting “Get Recipe Ingredients” when the option is available.

As always, your feedback helps us improve Recipe Cloud. If you try this shopping option, let us know what worked well, what could be clearer, and what you’d like to see added in future updates.

Recipe Cloud 4.0 will continue improving how recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists work together, making it easier to plan what you want to cook and get the ingredients you need.

Thanks for being part of the Recipe Cloud community. We’re excited to keep making cooking simpler, smarter, and more enjoyable.
