Welcome to Recipe Cloud
Where Cooking and Connection Come Together
From everyday cooks to culinary innovators and brands, we’re building a platform that inspires, connects, and brings the joy of cooking to more people.
Our Story
We started in 2012 with a simple idea: to create an easier way for home cooks to save, organize, and share their favorite recipes with friends and family. As Recipe Cloud grew, we expanded beyond iPhone to launch an iPad app, a full web app, and new features designed to help put all those saved recipes into action—including meal planning tools, grocery list management, and more.
What began as a simple social recipe app has evolved into a vibrant platform for food lovers, home cooks, and professional chefs alike. Today, we’re building the next generation of Recipe Cloud: a platform designed not just for saving recipes, but for empowering home cooks, supporting food bloggers and brands, and creating new ways for the culinary community to connect and thrive.
Recipe Cloud’s mission is to make cooking, meal planning, and recipe organization feel effortless and inspiring for everyone.
Our Team
A Small Team with a Big Vision
Recipe Cloud is built by a small, passionate remote team who believe in the power of food, creativity, and community. We focus on creating tools that help home cooks, creators, and brands organize, share, and grow through recipes. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to welcome new contributors and collaborators into the Recipe Cloud community.
“At Recipe Cloud, our goal has always been simple—build tools that make the kitchen more inspiring, more organized, and a little more fun for everyone who loves to cook.”
Trent Cox, Co-Founder of Recipe Cloud
